- Many New Zealanders still expect the house they live in to be their best-performing investment.
ASB has released its latest Investor Confidence Report, which shows confidence is slowly regaining ground after dropping since the middle of 2014.
One surprising aspect of the survey was that people thought their own home was the investment that would give them the best returns, said ASB general manager of wealth Jonathan Beale.
Twenty-one per cent expected it to top the list, followed by 18 per cent who said their rental property would deliver the best results.
