In a recent interview with Breakfast, Alice de Wet from the NZ Naturist Federation discussed the upcoming Nude Gardening Day, encouraging Kiwis to participate in this unique experience. This year’s theme revolves around the cultivation of one’s own produce.

According to de Wet, this practice can be profoundly liberating and beneficial for self-esteem, as it fosters a sense of freedom and personal growth. She emphasized that having nothing to hide can be a transformative experience.
De Wet encouraged individuals, whether experienced or newcomers to naturism, to give it a try tomorrow. She suggested trying it in your own garden or seeking out a nearby naturist club.
It’s essential to prioritize safety while gardening in the nude, especially in warm weather. De Wet recommended wearing sunscreen, a hat, and, if preferred, gloves or footwear to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
