Laing+Simmons is offering boutique real estate agencies the chance to join its team while retaining their name.

It is part of the agency’s expansion program across NSW as it targets top local operators and independent offices across the state to join its team.

This allows new partners to have flexibility and ensure their name remains prominent in the community, Laing+Simmons head of network growth Travis Wentriro said.

“This is not a departure from our growth strategy, it’s an extension to it,” Mr Wentriro said.

“While we have traditionally connected the brand of our Laing+Simmons offices to the communities we serve, we recognise for many independent real estate businesses, there’s a valuable legacy attached to the family name.

“In recent times, there has been a backlash of sorts against the strict parameters and operating constraints that some of the larger real estate brands require their people to stick to.

“We’re a family company, so it makes sense to honour a family name.”
