One of Eastbourne’s oldest and grandest houses is back on the market 18 months after its last sale, with a starting price of $1.495 million.
It was last sold in January 2018 for $1.4 million and has an estimated market value of $1.58 million.
Built in 1905 by Eastbourne’s first mayor, Fred Bolton, 17 Kowhai St, is a landmark house on a 1037 square metre property.
The present owners are relocating overseas due to work commitments in Sydney, “and are very sad to have to leave what they hoped would be their forever home,” said real estate agent Kim Slessor.
