One of Wellington’s waterfront landmarks has been sold to a Kiwi living overseas.
The grand old villa at 186 Oriental Parade, next to the “Seven Sisters” sold for more than the $3.3 million RV, says Grant Henderson of Bayleys Wellington Residential.
“The new owner has been working overseas for some years and is looking to relocate. While the house is currently in three flats, it has a lot of original features and it will end up as one lovely big family home again.”
Houses in Oriental Bay rarely come on the market, and when they do they often change hands privately.
