LJ Hooker Kaiwaka, Leigh, and Warkworth embark on a new journey as fresh proprietors step into the picture.

Greer and Robert Tulp bring with them a wealth of experience, collectively spanning several decades in real estate, sales, business ownership, and auctioneering. They have now embraced LJ Hooker as the latest additions to its roster of business owners.

Heading the venture, Principal Greer Tulp will steer the ship, while Robert Tulp assumes the role of in-house auctioneer and trainer, alongside his ongoing business pursuits.

“I’ve always aspired to be a business owner,” Mrs. Tulp remarked. “My career has been a diverse path—I began as a personal assistant, progressed to administrative roles, and managed an office with a team of 20. After a few years in real estate offices, I transitioned into sales, and it’s been an onward journey ever since.”

Taking a hiatus to raise her children, Mrs. Tulp steadily climbed the professional ladder and earned the distinction of a top salesperson in a prior network she was associated with.

LJ Hooker Warkworth inaugurated its operations in April 2011, under the stewardship of Viv Wyatt, who transitioned from a salesperson to a business owner. After an illustrious 32-year career with the group, Mr. Wyatt chose to retire.

Mr. Wyatt’s wish was for his business legacy to thrive, and Mrs. Tulp is resolute in her commitment to build upon his achievements.

“Viv has created a unique opportunity, fostering a longstanding and loyal team. Some have been part of this office for an impressive 21 years, and I’m thrilled to join this close-knit unit,” Mrs. Tulp expressed.

“My goal is to build upon Viv’s foundation, to cultivate a dynamic team eager to excel,” she added.

During her time raising her children, Mrs. Tulp often heard tales of unfavorable experiences with salespeople. Her vision for the new venture is to provide a trustworthy alternative that sellers, buyers, landlords, and renters can rely on.

Barry Grieve, LJ Hooker New Zealand Network Manager, anticipates a bright future with the inclusion of Mrs. and Mr. Tulp as business owners within the LJ Hooker network, particularly in the northern Auckland region.

“Greer and Robert conducted thorough research before acquiring the LJ Hooker Warkworth office. Their alignment with our values, direction, and group motivation is reassuring. We’re thankful they’ve chosen to be part of LJ Hooker, placing their trust in our brand,” Mr. Grieve noted.

He continued, “Warkworth and its community will benefit greatly from Greer and her team, as they understand the significance of customer service and ensuring positive property journeys for both buyers and sellers.”

Mrs. Tulp’s passion lies in training and implementing strategies to help salespeople achieve success, and she eagerly anticipates applying this expertise with her LJ Hooker team.

“The team is enthusiastic, and together, we’re poised to make a mark in the northern region. I envision LJ Hooker signs gracing the landscape along the new motorway connecting Auckland and Warkworth. This enhanced accessibility transforms Warkworth into a destination, offering immense potential for the area,” Mrs. Tulp concluded.
