Mark and Anna Pasternak’s ‘Mediterranean-inspired haven’ — the Vaucluse home they completed just three years ago — has sold prior to Thursday’s scheduled auction for $15.5m.

Neither of the agents, D’Leanne Lewis of Laing + Simmons Double Bay or Michael Pallier of Sydney Sotheby’s International Realty, could be contacted tonight, however the sold sticker has gone up at 10 The Crescent.

And other sources have confirmed that the magnificent home has sold for above the guide — several are now saying for exactly $15.5m.

The late Friday night deal was negotiated after both agents previously reported a great deal of interest.
