AFTER being knocked back multiple times for a mortgage, a former Sydneysider has been rewarded for decades of persistence by finally buying his first home — at the ripe age of 74.
The purchase has made Anthony Pryce one of the country’s oldest ever first home buyers and the oldest to buy their first home this spring. He’s also possibly the oldest recipient of the NSW government’s raft of first-time buyer benefits.
