According to realestate.com.au MELBOURNE’S flashiest real estate agent has set up shop on the Gold Coast — a move to be documented in an upcoming season of his new reality TV show.
Zed Real Estate founder Zed Nasheet is a natural fit for the Glitter Strip, which has backed up its own showy image with a property market that has outshone most other cities in Australia since the pandemic boom.
Mr Nasheet launched the company’s first interstate branch this month in exclusive Mermaid Beach.
“The Gold Coast is the greatest uptapped market in the country,” he says. “It is so undervalued.
“From the minute I announced we were coming to the Gold Coast I’ve had people ringing non-stop wanting to sign up with us.”
The Lamborghini-driving salesman owns his company with his three brothers, Maseeh, Tee and Qaiss, and arrived in Australia as a 12-year-old refugee after initially fleeing war-torn Afghanistan for a poverty-striken existence in Pakistan.
He plans to split his time between Victoria and Qld and has placed an offer on a luxury highrise apartment by the beach.
A Warner Bros production centred on the Zed Real Estate brand and its namesake’s high-flying deals has commenced filming, with the second series to be shot around the Gold Coast.
“People love me, the camera just loves me,” Mr Nasheet says.
The agency signed on five listings in its first week, while business will focus on new projects as well as, “bringing in investors from Melbourne and Sydney”.
Listings include a sleek 5-bedroom Sovereign Islands mansion with a $4.9m price tag marketed by Ben Ada and Cameron Edwards, and a contemporary waterfront home at Broadbeach Waters priced at offers over $2.45m.
The 30-something — he says he doesn’t have a record of his actual birth date — has a penchant for luxury cars, counting a BMW, Porsche and Mercedes alongside his orange Lambo (the Bentley was just sold).
He’s also produced a widely circulated music video promo where he emerges from a private jet in a suit, rapping about being the fastest “zelling” agent in the world.
But the front, Mr Nasheet says, is inspired by a desire to show others that with self-belief, success if achievable for anyone who puts in the work.
“I dedicate my life to real estate 100 per cent. I’m single and I’m not looking for anyone. “My work comes first, my company comes first.”
