Fitness icon Michelle Bridges has at last secured a buyer for her Southern Highlands residence, Summerside, after it lingered on the market since February.
Initially listed with a bold asking price of $7 million through The Agency, her Kangaloon estate swiftly adjusted to $6.5 million. Despite this, it went unsold at a March auction, with bidding only reaching $4.825 million. Subsequently, Ray White Bowral’s Gene Fairbanks and Kathryn Pogson-Pike took over the listing, aiming for a range of $4.6 million to $4.8 million.

Responding to market dynamics, the agents revised their initial expectations to $4.15 million to $4.4 million. More recently, they fine-tuned the price upwards to $4.25 million and above, reflecting a positive shift in market conditions.
However, specific price details for the “under offer” status have not been disclosed.
In 2018, Bridges outbid celebrity chef Luke Mangan to acquire the five-bedroom property for $2.7 million. The estate boasts features such as an in-ground pool, a tennis court, an artist studio, and a barn-style double garage with a loft bedroom and bathroom, all encompassed within meticulously designed gardens by Michael Bligh.
With this sale, only two listings remain in Kangaloon: Twyning, a charming cottage set on a 1012 sq m parcel on Sugarloaf Lane, and Kia-Ora, spread over 2.6 hectares and featuring landscaping plans by Harriette Conway.

Reportedly, Michelle Bridges, the prolific author of 17 books, is planning to relocate to the city for work commitments, including her widely acclaimed 12-week body transformation online fitness program. This program has catalyzed remarkable changes in over 450,000 individuals who have collectively shed more than 1.7 million kilograms through a combination of exercise, meal plans, and mindset lessons.
Bridges’ previous urban residence was in Pomeroy, Potts Point, where she resided until 2020. Following her separation from partner Steve “Commando” Willis and to escape the intrusive paparazzi at her local Woolworths, she sold her apartment for $6.4 million.
