MORE women than ever before are taking a big step and jumping on to the property ladder.
It seems the ladies are growing in confidence and have begun to put more focus on their long-term finances than their male counterparts, according to data recorded by the Australian Taxation Office.
Less than a decade ago, only 13 per cent of taxpayers who had an investment property were women, but the figure spiked more than two per cent in a five-year period.
