Mortgage Choice investors should have smelt a rat two months ago when its CEO, former NAB executive John Flavell, resigned with zero notice and was replaced by his veteran CFO, Susan Mitchell, who had already resigned to take a number-crunching role elsewhere.
Flavell had “always conducted himself and led the business in a professional and exemplary manner,” the company said in an amazingly bland statement from chairwoman Vicki Allen.
