- An iconic high country farm that became the subject of a High Court battle can legally be sold, a judge has ruled.
It remains unclear what lies ahead for Mount Cook station: It is in the hands of the Public Trust, which is considering other uses for the land.
The farm, known for its spectacular location near the country’s highest mountain, was run by the Burnett family continuously for 150 years.
