- A decision on whether a dispute over Sumner’s Cave Rock Apartments will be resolved in the courtroom is expected by the end of the month.
Owners of units in the Peter Beaven-designed Christchurch apartment block are locked a multimillion-dollar dispute with their insurance companies over earthquake damage and settlement amounts.
It is understood the High Court proceedings, filed by the body corporate against the Earthquake Commission (EQC) and IAG in 2014, involve a claim by the plaintiffs of between $20 million and $35m.
