The real estate agent marketing a 1940s time capsule with its original decor in Point Chevalier, Auckland says it sold in “record time”.
Xenia Marcroft of Professionals said the three-bedroom brick-and-tile house sold for just under the asking price of $1.295 million.
It was put on the market by two sons on behalf of their elderly mother, Joyce, who has gone into a rest home – Joyce had lived in the house for 66 years.
