Colliers International is expanding the reach of its fast-growing rural and agribusiness service line with a newoffice in Katikati, established by two of the longest-standing Colliers franchisees.Launched today, the new office will provide a full range of rural brokerage services with a focus on the farm, lifestyle and orchard markets in Katikati and surrounding areas.

Hadley Brown, National Co-director of Rural and Agribusiness at Colliers International, says he is excited to expand Colliers’ growing rural and agribusiness capability.“The new Katikati office will build on the success of our Rotorua rural office, which opened last year. “It will put Colliers in a strong position to grow our market share in the Bay of Plenty, which has long been one of the highest-performing regions in our network. “It will also bolster the strength of Colliers Rural and Agribusiness, which is our fastest-growing service line in
New Zealand.”

The Katikati office will be led by Richard Graham, General Manager of Rural and Agribusiness. “It is Colliers’ rural expertise together with its global knowledge of selling income-producing assets that make it a good fit for the farm, lifestyle and orchard market in Katikati and surrounding areas,” he says. “Establishing a business here in addition to our Rotorua office and operations in Te Puke shows our continuedinvestment and commitment to the rural market and local communities in the Bay of Plenty region.”

The new office is a collaboration between the Tremain Group and Colliers International’s Bay of Plenty franchise. Led by Managing Director Simon Clark, the Bay of Plenty franchise was founded in 1998 and has offices in Tauranga and Rotorua. “Colliers is well established in the region as a market leader in commercial, industrial and retail sales and leasing,” he says. “Expanding our rural and agribusiness capability will allow us to continue the phenomenal growth we’ve achieved over the past 21 years.”

The Tremain Group is one of Colliers’ fastest-growing franchisees, with commercial and rural offices in Napier, Havelock North, Taupo, Rotorua, Tauranga, Waipukurau, Pahiatua and Masterton.

Hayden Duncan, CEO and Director of Tremain Northern, says the expansion into Katikati is in keeping with the company’s plan to offer quality real estate services in the broader Bay of Plenty. “Our success comes as a result of making sure that we have the best people in the market who create great experiences for clients backed by exceptional support and resources. “Being an established brand in the Bay of Plenty, Katikati is a key focus for us in both the rural and residential
markets.”

Colliers Katikati will service the greater Katikati area from Waihi Beach, Athenree, Tanners Point and Kauri Point, to Katikati township and south to Aongatete, Apata, Pahoia, Whakamarama and beyond. Colliers International is a market leader in commercial and rural real estate services with offices in 24 locations throughout New Zealand. The Rural and Agribusiness team offers nationwide sales, valuation and advisory services across a wide range of rural and agribusiness asset classes, including farms, horticulture, viticulture, forestry and lifestyle properties.
