One of the country’s most isolated butchers – plus the secrets to its success and sausages – has sold.
The Mōkau Butchery, which sits in the middle of two gorges on the three-hour journey between New Plymouth and Hamilton, now has a new smiling face behind the counter selling its “world-famous” sausages and bacon.
Taranaki man Bryan Lester, 50, has taken over Graham Putt, and his wife Gloria’s, pride and joy which they’ve successfully run for 30 years.
