At just 12, Leanne Pilkington was answering phones for her family’s real estate business — and decades later she is the new face of the Real Estate Institute of NSW.
Ms Pilkington has been elected the organisation’s president and will serve a two-year term.
Managing director of the Laing and Simmons group, Ms Pilkington is only the second woman to take on REINSW’s top role in more than 100 years.
