Disgraced former real estate agent Aaron Drever has been declared bankrupt over debts from his failed high-end supermarket, The Grocer’s Market in Mount Eden.
The decision was made at the High Court in Auckland on June 20.
In December 2017, Tegel Foods applied to the High Court in Auckland to have The Grocer’s Market put into liquidation over money owed for unpaid goods.
Drever was subsequently made personally responsible for the almost half-a-million dollars owed to creditors and in August 2018, Tegel Foods applied for Drever to be declared bankrupt.
