Rugby legend Steve Hansen has put his Canterbury lifestyle block home on the market.

According to the listing, the All Blacks coach says he and wife Tash are “moving on” when he hangs up his whistle after the Rugby World Cup in November.

“We have loved everything about our beautiful home over the last four years, however, we’re now preparing for the next phase of our lives after rugby. It’s as simple as that.”

The 456sqm, stone and linea house is fifteen minutes from the Christchurch CBD, and has five bedrooms, a media room, an award winning kitchen, extensive outdoor living areas and a pool. It all sits on 2.78ha of land that includes gardens and a substantial paddock – big enough for your own rugby pitch.
