Six months after a multi-million dollar purchase of 24 leaky townhouses, Porirua City Council doesn’t know what the plans for the properties are.
Porirua City Mayor Anita Baker said the townhouses were empty, and council staff were preparing options to go before councillors in the new year.
While the decision to buy the townhouses was made in a series of closed council meetings in 2018, Baker said the public would be kept in the loop about plans for their future.
