Bargain-hunters are moving in on popular Sydney spots on the northern beaches and inner east as the downturn in prices makes homes in exclusive suburbs suddenly more affordable.
Price falls of almost 10 per cent in the past 18 months have been a boon for would-be buyers after years of soaring growth.
The REA Group’s April Property Outlook report, released on Saturday, says buyers’ interest has shifted from “affordable” suburbs to premium areas.
