A Wellington property home to two 148-year-old kilns is up for sale.

The property, which has commercial space on the first two floors, and an apartment on the top, sits opposite Wellington’s Massey University campus on Wallace St.

The building boasts two rare, historic lime kilns in the foyer, which are made of handmade bricks from Hill Brothers’ Brick Works, which operated from the site in the 1870s.
