You know a property is serious business when it has its own quite extensive Wikipedia entry. Such is the case with the heritage-listed Amity, a four-bedroom historic home on New Farm’s riverbank.
The home has now come up for sale via expressions of interest, closing November 15.
Matt Lancashire, principal of Ray White New Farm, described Amity as “one of the iconic homes in Brisbane, full stop”.
“I think this is a once-in-a-generation opportunity,” he said. “We’ve had a number of people call from down south, and we’re expecting more.”
