All hail the queen. Oprah Winfrey has worked her magic again. This time in a boffo real estate transaction.
The TV personality’s picturesque property on Orcas Island, WA—part of the San Juan Islands—has sold in an off-market deal for $14 million, according to Business Journals.
As we previously reported on Realtor.com®, the billionaire purchased the 40-plus-acre waterfront estate in 2018 for $8,275,000. The secluded, four-bedroom, five-bathroom compound, nicknamed the “Madroneagle,” comprises two adjoining parcels, which Winfrey reportedly bought in separate transactions.
The listing had come on the market in 2016 for $12 million and had failed to find a buyer at that price. Winfrey then scooped it up at a substantial discount.
The sensational space spans a large, south-facing beach on East Sound and offers 3,000 feet of waterfront.
