PHOTO: DANIEL TWENEFOUR Owner Daniel Twenefour is raffling his London house.
When Daniel Twenefour struggled to find a buyer for his three-bed house in South London, he took matters into his own hands.
Taking it off the market, the businessman put it up for raffle – at just £2 ($4) a pop – instead. The response, he says “has been crazy”.
Offering unlimited punts-per-buyer, tickets in the raffle are available from website called tramwaypath.co.uk, a reference to the home’s well-connected location. New Zealanders are eligible to enter.
![The home to be raffled was most likely built in the early 20th century.](https://resources.stuff.co.nz/content/dam/images/4/y/m/e/j/h/image.related.StuffLandscapeSixteenByNine.710x400.20dn8f.png/1590008925328.jpg)
“People have been really supportive. I’ve had messages asking if I’m crazy and if it’s a scam, but most have been positive and have thanked me for the opportunity,” Twenefour says.
