A 12-level building on Oxford Tce that was one of the Christchurch City Council’s “dirty 30” eyesore buildings has gone on the market “as is where is”.
The “dirty 30” has now shrunk to eight remaining high profile central city earthquake-damaged buildings to be fixed.
The former luxury apartment building overlooking the Earthquake Memorial is not unsafe, but requires repairs for new tenants.
The 10 owners have pocketed an insurance payout, however the building still had a great future, according to Robin Hughes, chair of the body corporate and one of the original owners.

“Its taken nearly eight years but the insurance has finally been settled. The residents all moved on several years ago,” Hughes said.
