- A secluded lifestyle property in a spectacular Wellington location has been put on the market for the first time.
Agents expect Parakiora in the Ohariu Valley to go to a wealthy, possibly overseas, buyer and are marketing it as a “dream hideaway”.
It is the home of Boomrock event centre owner Jonny Eastwick, whose family has owned the surrounding Papanui Station since 1926.
Eastwick built Boomrock, a luxury clifftop venue, in the late 1990s and will continue to run it and the remaining farmland, Colliers agent Mike Laven said.
