A beachfront house in Pauanui featuring natural timbers and an underground wine cellar caught the eye of judges in the Waikato Registered Master Builders 2018 House of the Year competition.
Holah Homes took out a massive seven awards for the project, including Supreme House of the Year, a Gold Award and Category win for a New Home over $2 million.
Designed and built for laid-back living, the house puts a new spin on the archetypal beach house – the indoors and outdoors are as one. And with glazing on both sides of the open-plan living area, the sea view has not been sacrificed to provide shelter from the on-shore breeze.
