People who claim rents will rise may have a vested interest.

OPINION: I am forever bemused by the media coverage which the housing market receives through spokespeople that it turns out represent the interests of those who own all the rental houses.

Below are my three favourite headlines which are rolled out every now and then, which are biased, tend to miss the point and like all headlines often only tell half the story:

“Rents will rise significantly in Auckland due to Auckland not having enough houses.”
