Anna Crawford is getting used to the difficult job of saying no to people wanting a home at her campground.
The calls to her Belt Road Seaside Holiday Park and Motels in New Plymouth come every day. She believes they are indicative of the dire shortage of rental properties in Taranaki.
“Caravans are not great places for people to be staying for any length of time, particularly as the conditions get colder,”she said.
