If you want to find a bach bargain this year, the first place to look may be one road back from the sea.
New data from Homes.co.nz shows houses right on the water command a price premium of up to 50 per cent compared to their inland neighbours.
In the Far North, Homes.co.nz has a median HomesEstimate of $369,785 for all properties in the region. But within 100m of the sea, that jumps to $542,175, or just over 46 per cent more.
