Property investor Graeme Fowler has been active in the commercial property market this year.
He has added four commercial purchases to his portfolio of 76 residential, and is considering selling rental homes to buy more business premises.
“There aren’t as many rules and regulations that are involved as there are with residential.”
Investor and consultant Olly Newland said Fowler was not alone. He said he was seeing a steady number of people who had decided that residential investment was now too much work for too little return, and were considering commercial property as an alternative.
