The new owners of a rundown apartment complex in Blenheim are eyeing a two to three-year development, in which tenants will take turns in completed flats as their own spaces are renovated.
Christchurch couple Jo and Owen Mackley bought the well-known Haddin Court flats, built in the 1930s, in September 2018.
Jo Mackley said she spent six months studying the ins and outs of the 15-apartment property after it went on the market in 2017.
