PROPERTY transaction levels have slowed throughout Australia.
Although a few areas are going strong, the national figures are being pulled down by mining regions.
New figures reveal nationally the number of sales is 10.8 per cent lower than a year ago. Sales of houses are down 8.5 per cent and units 16.3 per cent.
Only 4.9 per cent of the nation’s property pool changed hands in the past 12 months.
