A woman has taken to TikTok to share bizarre footage of a real estate agent showing hopeful buyers through her house, which isn’t for sale.
Caught on her Ring doorbell camera, the video has wracked up a whopping 16.5 million views of the bewildering blunder: a group of people casually walking through her home in the middle of the day. Watch it above.
The user @honeysmyguarddog (formerly @busymomonli) talks us through the unexpected incident via voice over.
An agent rings the doorbell and waits, despite no cars being in the driveway, as she and her husband were at work while their son was in school.
Then a different vehicle pulls up. Four additional people exit the car and are standing around with the agent talking.
“I thought maybe they’re some religious group or salesmen,” the woman explains. “I am not sure at this point.”
The group then moves to the side of the house, “checking everything out” and talking about viewing the backyard.
The woman then sets the alarm off on her Ring camera, which causes them to turn and head back down the driveway to the front of the home. She figures that she’s scared them off, but quickly realises one person from the group is missing.

It’s the agent. The realtor apparently let himself in through the back door – which her teenage son happened to leave unlocked that day – in order to let clients through the front.
Hilariously, the homeowner’s dog was inside the property and proved no deterrent to the keen agent.
“Now mind you, my dog is home, apparently not a very good guard dog, but she’s home and they proceed to go in,” she says.
“They spend about 20 minutes opening every closet door, cabinet, you name it. They leave, they lock up, like no one was there.”
Obviously having no idea who these strangers were entering her home, the TikToker called the police. In a subsequent video, she shows them arriving to confront the group just as they were leaving.
By this time the owner returned to her home, taking police inside to confirm nothing was missing or stolen. The realtor then entered the property again, this time to apologise.
“Had I not had a ‘Ring’ camera, I would never have known this happened at all!” the author says in the video.
The agent explained that it was in fact the neighbours house he was supposed to show, mixing up the properties. He claims that the neighbour had told him to enter via the back door.
