A real estate agent has been censured for allowing a seller to conceal unconsented renovations.
Darren Brady, an agent with Harvey’s Real Estate Papakura, was censured and fined $3500 by the Real Estate Agents Disciplinary Tribunal for unsatisfactory conduct relating the sale of a Franklin property in June 2015.
Brady allowed a former colleague, Ivan Derrick, to conceal at auction the fact that the extensive renovations on his Franklin property didn’t have a code compliance certificate.
