A real estate agent known for his work selling million-dollar mansions in Sydney’s upscale eastern suburbs is facing seven charges after allegedly assaulting his girlfriend over a period of several months.

Augusto Gerocarni, aged 29, who is listed as a real estate agent with Ray White in Woollahra, was apprehended at his residence in Bondi Junction last Friday morning.

Following his arrest, Gerocarni was transported to Waverley Police Station, where he was officially charged with seven offenses. These charges include common assault, property damage, attempted stalking/intimidation with the intent to cause fear, and four counts of assault causing actual bodily harm. These alleged incidents involving his former partner, Lindsey Bennett, aged 32, are said to have occurred between November 2021 and July 2022.

Additionally, an application for an apprehended violence order was submitted on behalf of Ms. Bennett.

Gerocarni appeared in Waverley Local Court the same Friday and was granted bail under certain conditions. While on bail, he is required to maintain good behavior and is prohibited from contacting Ms. Bennett or any alleged witnesses. Ms. Bennett, who works as both a model and a nurse, had been in a relationship with Gerocarni for three and a half years before ending it in June of this year. During their relationship, they lived together in his Bondi Junction unit and another apartment in the same suburb. At one point, Ms. Bennett temporarily moved in with a friend but later returned to Gerocarni’s residence.
