It’s understood a real estate agent discovered the man’s body in a backyard shed at a Cooper Street home yesterday morning.
9News understands it was first thought the 23-year-old was sleeping in the shed but when officers arrived they quickly realised he was dead.
“The person who found him was a visitor to the property, and wasn’t known to the deceased,” WA Police Acting Inspector, Kareene Santoro told media.
It’s not clear how the man died, or when, but police are treating the death as suspicious.
“At this stage it’s too early to comment on injuries but that is a part of the investigation that’s underway,” she added.
