In case you missed it, The Bachelors Australia is just about the most exciting thing to happen in reality so far this year—sure, that’s not exactly impressive given we’re not even at the end of January, but the three-bachelors-instead-of-one twist, combined with the familiar face of Tash Candyce among its contestants has called for a very interesting season to watch.
It’s for the latter of these reasons that brings us here—reality TV fanatics were quick to notice Tash, who was paired with Jed McIntosh, looked oddly familiar. Although it might have been hard to place a finger on which show she’d featured on before. For other Bachelor die-hards, she was instantly recognisable due to her past (and very public relationship).
Intrigued? So are we. Below, everything you need to know about Tash, and where you’ve seen her before.

WHO IS TASH CANDYCE?

Tash is a 31-year-old real estate agent from Victoria. She is of Italian heritage, and she describes herself as a “hopeless romantic” who is ready to settle down.
“Being Italian I was born with a broom in one hand and wooden spoon in the other, ha! No, I have a lot to give, I just want to make sure it’s for the right person this time round,” she told Channel 10.

WHICH BACHELOR WAS TASH ENGAGED TO?

Tash was engaged to Michael Turnbull, who came second in Sam Frost’s season of The Bachelorette in 2015. He also had a second shot at reality TV love in the 2018 season of Bachelor in Paradise.
Michael and Tash started dating in September 2018 and were engaged within two months.
The bachelorette told WHO at the time that she was, “So surprised, I didn’t know what to expect.”
But the engagement didn’t last long. The pair split up in February 2019, and while they had a brief reunion in August that year, they eventually called it quits for good.
In 2021, Tash dated another former Bachelor star, Agostino ‘Aggi’ Guardiani, who featured in Elly and Becky Miles’ season of The Bachelorette in 2020. The pair also got engaged but once again, it was short-lived.

WHICH TV SHOW WAS TASH IN BEFORE ‘THE BACHELORS’?

Tash is no stranger to a reality TV romance—she starred in Channel 10’s First Dates back in 2017. Interestingly, she was also set to star in the 2018 season of Married At First Sight, but she backed out at the “eleventh hour”, per the Daily Mail.
So there you have it! Now that we’ve cleared that up, we can watch the drama unfold—going by what we’ve seen on The Bachelors so far, it looks like there’ll be plenty of that.
You can watch The Bachelors on Channel 10 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7.30pm.
