Originally established in 1992 by Scott Boniwell and Greg Dillon, the agency has been a staple in the Burleigh community for over 30 years. Scott’s son, Joel Boniwell, later joined the firm as a principal, continuing the family legacy. Harcourts highlighted the Boniwells’ unparalleled expertise in Burleigh’s unique real estate market.

Ray Pienaar, director of Harcourts Property Hub, expressed his enthusiasm for the acquisition, noting that the original owners would remain with the company under the new brand. “We are excited to be part of the Burleigh Waters/Burleigh Heads community and are committed to delivering world-class service while continuing the 30-year tradition of giving back to the local community,” Pienaar stated.

Pienaar emphasized Burleigh’s status as a highly sought-after area, noting that the Harcourts Burleigh team, with their deep local roots, would continue to leverage their community knowledge to serve the greater region effectively.

Harcourts Property Hub director Dave Manby echoed this sentiment, stating that the acquisition solidifies the company’s position as a key player in the beachside market, with a respected team excelling in both residential and commercial real estate.

Joel Boniwell explained that the decision to join Harcourts after 32 years of independence was driven by a strong mutual understanding between the two teams. He expressed excitement about the future as Harcourts Burleigh.

Harcourts Queensland CEO Greg Allan praised the expansion, noting that Harcourts Property Hub has rapidly grown since joining the Harcourts network, and the acquisition further strengthens their position in the market.
