A man awarded $10,000 in relief from a real estate agent who misrepresented a property he bought will not get a cent after a judge found that a builder’s report had revealed the poor state of repair of some aspects of the property.
Graeme Bridge bought the lifestyle property on Bibby St, Waipawa, for $209,000 in May 2016, sight unseen.
The sale was handled by Harcourts Waipukurau agent Heatha Edwards, who had listed the property as “A little starter lifestyle” with a 1960s three-bedroom house on a 2200sqm. section.
