Rebecca Gibney back in New Zealand for Lockdown

Rebecca Gibney, 55, on Saturday, flew back to her home country New Zealand to join her husband and son in self-isolation. 

She arrived in her home country on Saturday, sharing pictures and videos from her cosy coastal home – including her two dogs who were excited to see her. 

‘Three hour flight, four hour drive and I’m finally home – self-isolation never felt so good,’ she captioned a video of the beach outside her house.  

‘My happy place for the next 14 days… see you on the other side!’ she captioned another post of her living room.

So my boys have flown in and unfortunately flown out ?to get home to NZ in time before the border restrictions kick in. As much as I’m sad to see them go when they only just got here – I’m happy they are going home and will be there before the self isolation requirements kick in. I’m looking forward to joining them soon ?? and I will of course be self isolating when I do. I hope everyone follows the directives as it’s vital we slow down this bugger of a virus for the safety of our elderly and those at risk. And please remember we need to keep essentials on the shelves for those that really need it. Love and virtual hugs to all ❤️
