- Home buyers seem willing to take on lengthy commutes as regional prices continue to rise, while Auckland and Hamilton are flat.
The latest figures from QV show prices continue to surge in many regional centres as buyers look to the outskirts of major cities to find more affordable property.
QV national spokeswoman Andrea Rush said prices in Auckland, Hamilton and Christchurch were now flat or falling, as other centres picked up at pace.
