The median asking rent for a unit on the northern coastal region is now $370 a week, a mere $5 less than renting in the south-west of Sydney, according to the latest Domain Group Rental Report.
While rental prices for apartments in all other parts of Sydney saw more moderated growth over the year to December, prices on the Central Coast grew the most, by 5.7 per cent – leaving tenants an extra $20 a week out of pocket.
