Cricket legend Ricky Ponting and his wife Rianna have recently finalized the sale of their luxurious beachfront property in Brighton.
The sale of the stunning 1920s trophy home, which hit the market in May, was handled by Forbes Global’s Mike Gibson in collaboration with Andrew Smith from BuyerX.
The property, located in Brighton’s prestigious golden mile, is reported to have been sold within the price range of $14.8 million to $16 million.
The Pontings, who purchased the seven-bedroom residence for $9.25 million in 2013, expressed their delight with the sale, particularly to a wonderful family. As they embark on a new chapter, the couple has acquired a $20 million property in Toorak to be closer to their children’s sporting activities.
Their former Brighton home, known for its grand proportions, historic details, and exquisite amenities such as a tennis court, pool, and private beach access, stands as one of the most significant residences in the neighborhood.
