A knock-down-and-rebuild house with uninterrupted river views and its own sliver of sandy beach has sold at auction for $4.96 million.
A crowd of about 100 turned up to 25 Beach St, Tennyson Point, on a sunny but windy Saturday to watch seven of 15 registered parties bid.
Declared on the market at $4.92 million, the property sold for $40,000 more, Joseph Mazar from Ray White — Gladesville and Ryde said.
The sale almost topped the list for the most expensive sale in Sydney last weekend, according torealestate.com.au.
