Former FAI chief Rodney Adler and his wife Lyndi have sold their Vaucluse mansion on the quiet to high-profile stockbroker Angus Aitken and his wife Sarah.
The Aitkens sold their Woollahra home, Cooper Park House, in June for $11 million to radio star Jackie O, with plans at the time to upgrade to something with more space for the kids.
And at 2100 square metres the Adler home is just the thing. The Olola Avenue residence, complete with tennis court, swimming pool and a separate guest house, last traded in 2002 for $6.5 million when sold by property developer John Lyons.
There were plans for a major renovation at a cost of $5 million in 2018, but they never took place and instead the keys were handed to LJ Hooker Double Bay’s Bill Malouf with $16 million hopes.
There’s no sign yet what the Aitkens paid for it and Malouf won’t comment either way.
