Controversial former Wallaby Israel Folau has said goodbye to his Kallangur home.

The rugby union star has sold the four-bedroom, two-bathroom property in the Moreton Bay region of Queensland for a tidy $562,000, Pricefinder records show.

Sold through LJ Hooker Property Connections Kallangur agent Liam Booker, the deal has secured Folau a $403,000 profit. Folau purchased the home at 19A Diane Parade for $159,000 back in June 2010.

The listing describes the Kallangur property as a “quality built home” with “immaculate presentations throughout”.

It offers instant kerb appeal with its angular roof, and the interiors are fairly modern with an open-plan layout, tiled floors, a neutral colour palette and raked ceilings.

There’s also space to entertain with a covered outdoor area and a grassed yard.

In May this year, Folau sold his Kenthurst estate, nearly 40 kilometres north-west of Sydney’s CBD, according to Pricefinder. The listing had a price guide of $3.5 million to $3.85 million.

It is understood Folau and his wife Maria still own a $1.5 million three-bedroom home in Brisbane’s west.

The footballer now plays for the Shining Arcs in the Japan Rugby League One and the Tonga national rugby union team.
