- A Vaucluse mansion that hit the market three years ago with hopes of breaking Australia’s housing price records has finally sold, making it the country’s biggest sale of a single home this year.
The Peter Stutchbury-designed residence on Carrara Road was originally listed with hopes of $60 million but was discounted to $53 million last year by Alison Coopes, of Agency by Alison Coopes, who declined to comment on the sale.
